Any questions received after noon on December 21, 2023 will not be addressed Each proposal should be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond payable to the UTILITY BOARD OF THE CITY OF KEY WEST in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the proposal as security Scope of Work Provide all materials, equipment, labor, coordination, and supervision necessary to remove and dispose of existing stationary generator fuel tank and generator support beams, install new stainless steel aboveground storage tank and support beams, and re-connect stationary generator and all applicable controls. Contractor will be responsible for all necessary permits, registrations, sampling, and site assessment reports required to install and use the fuel tank. Existing fuel tank contains approximately 2000 gallons of diesel fuel. Contractor shall drain existing fuel from current generator fuel tank and store in appropriate container or tanker truck. After completion of tank replacement the diesel fuel shall be returned to the newly installed generator fuel tank. Fuel shall be processed prior to returning to new tank. Prior to the start of work the generator shall be test run to demonstrate unit operability
