Pursuant to authority granted by Findlay City Council under Ordinance No. 2023-068, adopted August 1, 2023, bids will be received for the furnishing of the following chemicals, materials, and services for the period of January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024: #1 - Pebble Lime Bulk #40 - Elevator Maintenance #3 - Liquid Sodium Permanganate #42 - Office Supplies #7 - Liquid Carbon Dioxide (Bulk) #45 - Janitorial Supplies #8 - Activated Carbon #62- WTPLime Hauling Services #11 - Soda Ash #63 - C909 Plastic Pipe #13 - Asphalt Concrete #65 - Motor & Pump Repair/rebuild #17 - Crushed Stone #402 - Sodium Hypochlorite (WTP) #22 - Cast Iron Water Line Pipe #69 - Large Diameter & Gate Valve #25 - Type K Soft Copper Tubing #1601 - Ready Mix Concrete #31 - Refuse Removal #1602 - CDF #32 - Vehicle Fuel #1603 - Class C Concrete #33 - Airport Fuel 100ll #2401 - Water Meter Lids #34 - Airport Fuel - Jet A Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond in the form of a certified check on a solvent bank, money order, irrevocable letter of credit, cashiers check or surety bond payable to the City of Findlay, Ohio, in an amount of $1,000. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids; and reserves the right to accept or to reject any and all optional bids offered; and reserves the right to waive minor irregularities in the bids received. The City reserves the right to enter contracts with more than one vendor. The contract shall be awarded for the period of January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024. The City shall have the option to extend a contract for each of 2 succeeding years, provided that the City exercises any such option 90 days prior to expiration of the contract.
