Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
As of January 4, 2024, this project was awarded to the following contractors. For General Construction awarded to C.B.F. Contracting, Inc. with $1,151,000.00, Plumbing Construction to Silvertip, Inc. with $207,000.00, HVAC Construction to Silvertip, Inc. with $245,000.00 and Electrical Construction to G.R. Noto Electric with $352,500.00. Total awarded amount is $1,955,500.00. Contract No. 2023-5 General Construction Contract No. 2023-6 Plumbing Construction Contract No. 2023-7 HVAC Construction Contract No. 2023-8 Electrical Construction A certified check, payable to the COUNTY OF TIOGA, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and Surety Company, in an amount equal to ten percent (I 0%) of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid. No Bidder may withdraw a bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Should there be reasons why the Contract cannot be awarded within the specified period, the time may be extended by mutual agreement between the COUNTY OF TIOGA and the Bidder. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Insurance Certificates and Performance and Payment Bonds and Maintenance Bond. The COUNTY OF TIOGA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. The construction period is 200 consecutive calendar days. Work under this Contract is subject to the requirements of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (1961 August 15, PL 987, PS. 165) and subsequent amendments. Work under this Contract is subject to the requirements of the Public Works Employment Verification Act (Act 127 of2012).
