Work for this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, equipment, materials, and transportation necessary for the proper and safe removal, handling, disposal of asbestos containing/contaminated materials (ACM), mold containing/damaged materials and/or mold remediation. The work project is located within Hastings City Hall building (City Hall) located at 220 N. Hastings Avenue, Hastings, NE. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Nebraska, or a bid bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid of all contract construction costs, made payable to the City Treasurer of the City of Hastings, Nebraska, as security that the bidder to whom the contract may be awarded will enter into a contract to build all the improvements in accordance with this notice and give bond in the sum hereinafter provided for the construction of improvements. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in the sum of the full amount of the Contract within ten (10) days of the date of award.
