Oregon is committed to creating an environment that supports the ingenuity and industriousness of Oregon's Minority Business Enterprise [MBE] and Women Business Enterprise [WBE]. Emerging Small Business [ESB] firms are also an important sector of the state's economy. Oregon MWESB-certified and Service Disabled Veteran-certified firms, as defined in Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) 200.055, have an equal opportunity to participate in the performance of contracts financed in whole or in part with state funds. By submitting its proposal, the proposer certifies that, if opportunities arise for subcontractors to perform a portion of the Services, the proposer will take reasonable steps to ensure that certified firms are provided an equal opportunity to compete for and participate in the performance of such work. Proposer further certifies and agrees that it has not and will not discriminate in its employment practices with regard to race, creed, age, religious affiliation, sex, disability, sexual orientation or national origin, and it has not and will not discriminate against a subcontractor in the awarding of a subcontract because the subcontractor is a minority-owned, woman-owned, or emerging small business enterprise certified under ORS 200.055.
