The successful bidder shall with the delivery of the performance bond submit an executed payment bond for 100% of the contract to guarantee payment to laborers and suppliers for the labor and material used in the work performed under the contract. Maintenance Bond - Upon acceptance of the work by the City, the contractor shall submit a maintenance bond (N.J.S.A. 40A:11-16.3) in an amount not to exceed 100% of the project costs guaranteeing against defective quality of work or materials for the period of two (2) years.
