City of Celina (Owner) is requesting bids for the construction of the following project: PRESTON ROAD GREEN RIBBON Bid # 2024-076 TXDOT PROJECT #F2B23(092), CCSJ # 0091-03-030 SCOPE OF WORK The construction project includes the installation of trench drains and partial paving/grading of the existing driveway. Question Deadline: 11/10/2023 at 5:00 PM CT All questions shall be submitted through the eProcurement system. The owner anticipates that the Project's total bid price will be approximately $812,000. The Project has an expected duration of 72 working days. Bidders must submit with their bids a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%), from a reliable Surety Company as guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute bond and guarantee forms provided within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract. Checks will not be accepted. The successful Bidder must furnish performance, payment, and maintenance bonds each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price from an approved Surety Company holding a permit from the State of Texas, to act as Surety and be acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding certificates of authority from the Secretary of Treasury of the United States, or other Surety or Sureties acceptable to the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating the price in the bids, the Owner reserves the right to consider the most advantageous construction thereof, or to reject the bid. Unreasonable or unbalanced unit prices will be considered sufficient cause of rejection of any bid or bids.
