Replacement of one (1) gas-fired rooftop air handling unit at the Dawson Creek campus of Northern Lights College with ALTERNATIVE prices for replacement of two additional units (RTU-2, RTU-3) Equipment has been pre-ordered by the Owner, contractor is responsible for demolition, installation, start-up, warranty. Controls services to be retained directly by the College (Webir Automation). 1 MECHANICAL .1 Provide new, complete, operational, and tested mechanical systems for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and controls, as described herein, indicated on the drawings and in full conformance with applicable codes, standards and ordinances. .2 Provide all labour, materials and products as specified, as required to accomplish this work. .3 The scope of HVAC work for this project generally includes: .1 Demolition of existing rooftop air handling units .2 Installation of new rooftop air handling units .3 Supply and installation of ductwork and piping insulation .4 Balancing, commissioning, and testing .5 Verification of systems operations and controls .6 Owner Training .7 Demonstration to Consultant .4 Plumbing work will include the following: 1. Disconnection of existing natural gas to existing rooftop units to be replaced 2. Provision of new gas piping, valves and components to connect new gas services to new rooftop units 3. Installation of condensate drainage system for condensing appliances .5 Fire Protection work will include the following: 1. No scope. .6 Mechanical Demolition will include the following: 1. Removal of existing rooftop units 2. Removal of existing curbs .2 ROOFING .1 Roofing for new mechanical equipment including removal and replacement of roofing materials to accommodate new rooftop units 4 CONTROLS .1 Controls work shall be retained directly by the College. .2 The Contractor shall allow for coordination with the controls contractor as required for successful completion of the project including demolition, new controls installation, start-up, etc. .5 ELECTRICAL .1 Electrical work for connection of new rooftop units to existing electrical services. .2 Provision of new electrical circuits as required per the scope of work
