The County of Santa Clara (County) desires to retain the services of well-qualified LOW VOLTAGE SYSTEM DESIGN AND ENGINEERING firm(s) ("Consultant(s)") to provide professional LOW VOLTAGE SYSTEM DESIGN AND ENGINEERING CONSULTING SERVICES to assess existing conditions, develop engineering recommendations, on-call consultation, building code analysis, feasibility studies, designs, cost estimates, and other support for various projects. Typical project construction sizes range from $50,000 to $15,000,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. The County of Santa Clara ("County" or "Owner") desires to retain the services of Low Voltage System Design and Engineering Consulting firm(s) ("Consultant(s)") to provide professional Low Voltage System Design and Engineering Services. The main purpose of this solicitation is to identify and contract with responsible qualified professional firms that may receive future requests for specific projects and services on an as-needed basis in the following areas: Low Voltage System Design and Engineering Consulting Services for Various Projects See detailed scope and responsibilities in Attachment D, Sample Professional Services Agreement, 5.04 Basic Services and Deliverables 5.05 Supplementary Services & Deliverables This RFSOQ may result in a single award or multiple awards. If an award is made, it is the County's intent, in its sole discretion, to award an agreement with a maximum contract limit (MCL) not to exceed five million dollars ($5,000,000) for a term of up to five (5) years, unless terminated earlier or otherwise amended.
