To secure a Contractor to provide repair and replacement services for small submersible miscellaneous pumps, at various water and wastewater facilities within the City of Houston. This is for a three (3) year contract with two (2) one-year options to renew annually, for a maximum five-year contract term. Question Deadline 10/20/2023 at 10:00 AM CT, Requests for additional information and questions should be addressed to the Finance Department, Strategic Procurement Division Buyer, Karen Simonton by e-mail to: karen.simonton@houstontx.gov . Proof of qualifications, licenses and certifications shall be required at the time of contract award and upon request thereafter. The Contractor shall make good faith efforts to award subcontracts and supply agreements in at least 4% of the value of the Agreement to certified MWBEs. If the contractor is a certified MBE or WBE, the Contractor may count its self-performance to meet a portion of the overall goal. The City reserves the right to accept or reject, in whole or in part, any or all bids received to the extent non-compliant with the provisions herein and to make award on the basis of individual items or combination of items, as it is deemed most advantageous or in the best interest to the City. The City reserves the right to waive any minor informality concerning this BVB, or to reject any or all bids or any part thereof to the extent non-compliant with the terms herein.
