The Town of Penfield Department of Public Works is hereby seeking a qualified contractor to paint the interior of the Penfield Public Library at the Penfield Community Center in the Town of Penfield. The area to be renovated consists of approximately 27,000 sq. ft. The purpose of this project is to update the wall colors and finishes within to accommodate Library program usage. The project primarily consists of painting all existing walls, trim work (windows and doors), and select wooden man doors. The work involved shall restore the area to a safe and like new appearance. All materials and supplies for the associated work shall be supplied by the contractor. It is the intention of the Town of Penfield to complete said renovation project in the late fall of 2023 or winter of 2024. The contractor shall commence work within fourteen (14) days of their Notice to Proceed and shall be completed no later than February 1st, 2024. The Contractor shall assume all expenses incurred in connection with performance except as otherwise provided in this agreement. If permits, governmental approvals or licensing is required to perform the services provided, the contractor agrees to apply for, obtain, and pay, any expenses for such permits, approvals, or licenses.
