As of January 22, 2025, per owner, this is NOT an RFP, it is a grant application for properties located in the TIF District. The City of Perryville is offering competitive, financial assistance through matching grants for improving the appearance, consistency, character, and overall ambiance of our downtown area by restoring and improving downtown buildings in an historically appropriate manner to add to the character and esthetic of the entire downtown. Two programs are available: 1) Facade Improvement grant (requires 50% match) - This program has been established to support business and property owners in our downtown TIF district in the design and construction of facade enhancements; 2) Structural Improvement grant (requires 75% match) - This program has been established to support business and property owners in our downtown district in the design, rehabilitation, and construction of necessary improvements to buildings within the downtown TIF District.
