Parking Lot of the Rexton Sports and Recreation Centre (1) Plowing of snow, during and following snow storms, shall be carried out ensuring that the municipal parking lot is kept open and passable to the satisfaction of the Municipality of Five Rivers. (2) The Contractor shall carry out the work in co-operation with Five Rivers. (3) The contractor shall diligently provide winter snow clearing promptly after each storm is ended and occasionally clear a drive access when activities are being held. (4) A complete list of the Contractor's available plowing equipment shall accompany the tender. (5) The work will also include periodic pushing snow banks beyond the parking lot to allow for storage space for future storms, improved visibility and proper drainage in the event of a rainstorm Question Deadline 10/24/2023 at 3:00 PM AT Clarifications requested by Bidders relating to this tender or relating to the Terms and Conditions of this tender must be in writing and shall be directed to Brent Goodwin Public Works Supervisor, not less than seven (7) days before date set for receipt of Bids. The Municipality of Five Rivers invites tenders for plowing a municipal parking lot for a three (3) year period in accordance with the specifications provided herein. The Contractor shall provide winter maintenance services as necessary on the parking lot covered by this contract from January 1st, 2024 until December 31, 2026. A letter of guarantee or Certified Cheque, $500.00, must accompany the tender. Bonds or cheques shall be payable to Five Rivers. The certified cheque of the unsuccessful bidders will be returned after the contact is awarded. The certified cheque of the successful bidder will be retained by the municipality until satisfactory completion of this service contract.
