The contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive qualified bidder whose bid meets the requirements and criteria set forth herein provided, however, that if the bid from the responsible and responsive bidder exceeds the funds budgeted for the contract, the OWNER may negotiate with such apparent low bidder to obtain a contract price within the budgeted amount. 1. Mowing and lawn services. a. Including trimming of bushes and curbing. 2. a. For the months of November through March, bids will be for services once per month. 3. Invoices must be mailed or delivered to 1404 East Forsyth St, Americus, GA 31709. 4. The Superintendent or Public Works Director will sign off on completed work to be paid monthly. 5. If any work is being done outside of mowing and trimming bushes/curbing, a written quote must be given and signed by the Superintendent before the contractor may proceed.
