1. South Rogers Street from the Alley East of IH 35E Service Road to West Avenue 2. Alley between Bauder Street and Opal Avenue from Five Points Road to South Rogers Street 3. Alley North of South Rogers Street 4. Oldham Street from Kaufman Street to Williams Street 5. Ross Street from Farley Street to East Marvin Avenue 6. West Avenue from South Rogers Street to Alley North of Opal Avenue The project consists of the replacement of water and sanitary sewer mains at these locations as follows 1-S. Rogers Street (FM 66) from east of IH 35 to West Ave. Replacement of 1100 linear feet of an existing 6-inch VCT sanitary sewer with a new 8 PVC sanitary sewer main -Alley between Bauder Street and Opal Ave. from Five Points Rd. to South Rogers Street- Replacement of the 1300 LF of an existing 6-inch VCT sanitary sewer main with a new 8-inch PVC main. Alley North of South Rogers Street- Replacement of the 900 LF of an existing 6-inch VCT sanitary sewer main with a new 8-inch PVC main. Oldham Street from McClain Street to Kaufman Street. -Replacement of 500 LF of an existing 8-inch water line a new 8-inch PVC main. Ross Street from Farley Street to E. Marvin Ave.-Replacement of 2500 LF of existing 8-inch & 10-inch water main with a new 8-inch & 12-inch PVC water main. West Avenue from S. Rogers Street, continuing through alley north of Opal Ave- Replacement of 970 LF of an existing 8-inch water line a new 8-inch PVC water main. The project also includes all associated water and sanitary sewer appurtenances, sidewalks, curb, driveway repairs and associated pavement repairs for water sanitary sewer trenching throughout the limits of construction. The deadline to ask questions is 10/20/2023 5:00 PM CST Bids shall be accompanied by a cashier s or certified check upon a national, state bank or savings and loan in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price The successful bidder must furnish Performance Bond upon the form provided in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price and a Material and Labor Payment Bond upon the form provided in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety or other sureties acceptable to the Owner. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating proposal prices, the Owner reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous construction thereof, or to reject any or all bids
