Bidders are fully responsible for the delivery of their bids. Bids may be withdrawn at any time prior to bid opening. Telegraph, telephone and electronic facsimile (FAX) bids will not be accepted under any circumstances. Verification of Time: Atomic time is hereby established as the Official Time for Marion County Solicitations. All times stated in bids, quotes, RFP/RFQ's and any other solicitation generated by the Marion County Procurement Services Department will refer to atomic time. No bids will be accepted after 3:00 P.M., under any circumstances. Following bid evaluation, prepared tabulations will be posted in the Procurement Services Department for public view. Only the Marion County Board of County Commissioners has the authority to award bids, proposals, and projects determined to be in the best interest of the County. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive bidder, based upon the combined eligible and non-eligible bid items. The WORK includes improvement of roadways as shown in the construction plans as referenced above by Project and Bid Number and applicable parts of these contract documents. It is required to submit the Insurance Certificate to the Procurement Services Division with the bid. A PRE-AWARD MEETING (if necessary): will be approximately FOURTEEN (14) DAYS AFTER BID OPENING, at the Marion County Procurement Services Department Conference Room, at 2631 SE 3rd Street, Ocala, Florida 34471.
