The work for which these proposals are to be submitted consists of providing all labor, tools, materials, equipment and supervision necessary for the performance of all operations incidental to the cleanup, mowing, trimming, edging and mulching to keep the properties and grounds of the Athens Housing Authority in a neat and orderly appearance. All work shall be performed to the terms and conditions of the Request for Proposal. The contact person for this RFP is Mr. Jody Daniels, jdaniels@athenshousing.org. In the event that the contract is awarded, the Bidder will enter into a contract and shall furnish the required Certificate of Insurance, Performance Bond and other requirements of the RFP. Proposals shall be prepared, addressed and submitted in compliance with detailed instructions as set forth in the Contract Documents. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond(s) in the amount of 100% of the first year Contract Amount. All Contractors submitting bids must pre-register with the Athens Housing Authority to ensure that all documents, addendums and other critical information related to the bid is received. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to award in part or in whole, or to reject any part of any bid, to waive any informality in any bid, or to re-advertise for all or part of the Work contemplated. Attention is called to the fact that wages not less than the rates as published by HUD Form 52158 and as set forth in the specifications must be paid on this Project
