County: Rockingham Route: Nc 87 and Six Secondary Roads Location: Maps 1-7 Type of Work: Widening, Resurfacing & Pavement Markings The date of availability for this project is March 15, 2024. The completion date for this project is September 15, 2025. Statements of Minority and Women Business Enterprises participation must be presented with this bid. The combined MBE/WBE goal is 12% for this contract. The North Carolina Department of Transportation is requesting bids for widening. resurfacing, and pavement markings on NC 87 and six secondary roads in Rockingham County. All quantities are estimates. The Contractor shall furnish labor, equipment and materials All prospective bidders shall be prequalified with the Department of Transportation prior to submitting a bid. Contractors who are not prequalified may obtain information and forms for prequalifying from the Contractual Services Unit, Division of Highways, Department of Transportation, 1509 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC. All required prequalification statements and documents shall be filed with the Contractual Services Unit at least four weeks prior to the date of opening bids. NC DOT - Widening, Resurfacing and Pavement Markings on NC 87 and Six Secondary Roads Question Deadline 10/27/2023 Questions shall be emailed to Jennifer Sour at jsour@ncdot.gov 7 calendar days prior to the bid opening. Contact with any other NCDOT personnel concerning this project is not allowed, unless otherwise noted, and may result in bids being considered non-responsive.
