As of September 1'6,2025 project was awarded to ALANS EXCAVATING INC. with the amount of $3,045,373.68 ** Project Number GR 861/604 X 0.65 miles of grading and surfacing on SW 20th Street and SW Ohio St. This road intersection is 1.8 Miles east of Towanda. This project will be bid and built in accordance with the Standard Specifications of the Kansas Department of Transportation, Edition 2015, together with the general provisions, special conditions and supplements included herein. The provisions in these documents shall be considered to supersede the requirements of Standard Specifications Each proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond acceptable to the County in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the proposal, payable without condition to the County as a guarantee that the bidder, if awarded the contract, will promptly execute such contract in accordance with the proposal.
