Update: This project will upsize a section of the wastewater system along Van Ness Street, and will address high flows and improve maintenance efficiency. This project supports the 2020 Wastewater Master Plan by rehabilitating existing wastewater systems, and supports the Climate Recovery Ordinance by implementing Action R32 of the Climate Action Plan 2.0. Project is included in City of Eugene - Finance Fiscal Year 2026-2031 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This Ward 3 project will upsize a section of the wastewater system along Van Ness Street. This project will address high flows and improve maintenance efficiency. Operations and maintenance costs are expected to be reduced in the short term for this project, but it is too early in the project lifecycle to determine a reliable estimate. Fiscal Year 2024-2029 *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
