Project Description: This Ward 8 project will rehabilitate a portion of the wastewater collection system in the area of Stewart Road. All nonplastic wastewater pipes in the right-of-way will be lined with cured in-place pipe. All deteriorated manholes will be sealed. The project need was identified by ongoing wastewater flow monitoring, which discovered a high amount of inflow and infiltration during wet weather. Once rehabilitated, the collection system will have increased capacity and longer service life. Operations and maintenance costs are expected to be reduced in the short term for this project, but it is too early in the project lifecycle to determine a reliable estimate. As of October 17, 2023, the project is included in the City's Capital Improvement Plan, FY2024-2029. Project is funded for FY2026-2027. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
