Site Directions: 12th Ave and Boson Rd, Hiawatha, IA This project consists of intersection improvements to Boyson Road and N. 12th Avenue in Hiawatha, IA. The project will replace the existing 2-way stop controlled intersection to a single lane roundabout. Sidewalk and trail pavement, including cross walks, will also be replaced directly surrounding the intersection. New street lights, two storm sewer intakes, and minor landscaping will be installed around the intersection. There will be no pre-bid meeting Project has an early Start Date of April 1, 2024. Contractor shall have the project substantially completed by Friday, September 27, 2024 and final completion by Friday, October 11, 2024. All paperwork shall be completed by Friday, November 8, 2024. The bidder's security shall be in the amount fixed in the Instruction to Bidders and shall be in the form of a cashier's check or a certified check performance of the contract, in an amount equal to 100% of the amount of the contract.
