Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The improvements include the reconstruction and expansion of the existing tennis courts, installation of two new basketball courts, 15-inch storm sewer pipe, storm sewer manholes, storm sewer intakes, Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) sidewalks, PCC driveways, Post-Tensioned PCC tennis courts, Reinforced PCC Basketball Courts, earthwork, acrylic court surfacing, erosion control, and other incidental items, all in accordance with the contract documents, including Plan File No. 659-001/032, located at Birdland Sports Complex, 6th Avenue and Birdland Drive, Des Moines, Iowa. Bid Security. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as specified by the Jurisdiction. This project shall be fully completed not later than May 15, 2025, and in accordance with the Completion Provisions. The City of Des Moines (Jurisdiction) reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The Citys Overall Annual DBE/TSB Goal for this project is 6.03%
