Hamilton County Department of Facilities is requesting quotes for providing on-site after hours or emergency ELECTRICAL repair work when in house staff is unavailable or needs supplemental assistance on a T&M basis for January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024. The scope envisioned would include, but not be limited to: providing time and material assistance on standard Electrical scope work in the Hamilton County Department of Facilities managed buildings such as: Justice Center, Courthouse, 800 Broadway, Todd B. Portune Center for County Government, Jobs and Family Services, Environmental Services Building, Juvenile Youth Center, Communications Center, Patrol Headquarters, Coroner's Office, Planning & Development Garage, and 230 East Ninth as needed. This work may be awarded to multiple bidders and quotes will be kept on record for future work request. The Owner reserves the right to award in any manner that best fits the needs of Hamilton County Facilities. All bidders shall be registered with the City of Cincinnati for the work being proposed in this bid. The awarded contractor will be required to provide a full Hamilton County Background check (local, BCI and FBI) for each employee entering the building unless they have undergone all three checks and been cleared by the Department on or after January 1, 2024. The awarded contractor shall provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance and Worker's Compensation Certificate according to the Insurance Requirements attached. All work on site shall follow the Hamilton County Safety Guidelines which are attached. Prevailing Wage Law does not apply to this bid. Work may include electrical regular time, hourly repair work and/or overtime hourly repair work. There is no guarantee on the amount of work that may be awarded from this bid, but the County is looking for a firm willing to work with them on a 24/7 after-hours or emergency basis when in-house staff needs assistance or is unavailable. The required response time after a call must be within 2 hours. Q & A deadline: Oct 19, 2023 12:00:00 PM EDT It is understood and agreed by the undersigned that the Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any reason.
