Site work and paving for a road / highway in Makawao, Hawaii. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of December 11, 2023 the project has been awarded, however, a timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The scope of work consists of removing the existing pavement structure to subgrade and reconstructing a new pavement structure consisting of aggregate base, hot mix asphalt base course, and hot mix asphalt pavement for various roads in the Pukalani Terrace Subdivision. Work also involves reconstructing street survey, centerline and reference survey monuments, adjusting valve boxes, installing pavement markings, signage, and reflective markers, and other incidentals. The Department of Finance reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any defects in said proposals for the best interest of the public. To be eligible to bid, bidders must be licensed in accordance with Chapter 444, HRS, relating to the licensing of contractors. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
