DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required in the Plans, Specifications and Contract documents for said project. The work will take place in the City of Lawndale. The scope of work consists of removal and replacement of existing damaged signs; removal and replacement of existing old and rusty signposts and footings; traffic control, and all appurtenant work. The contractor shall dispose of the removal material to a legal dump site. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. COMPLETION OF WORK: All work to be done under this contract shall be completed within one hundred eighty-five (185) consecutive calendar days, exclusive of maintenance periods, beginning on the date stipulated in the written Notice to Proceed to be issued by the Engineer.
