Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Clive, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This project includes all materials, equipment, transportation and labor necessary for the reconstruction of NW 114th Street between Walnut Creek Bridge to NW 111th Street. Project items include approximately 5,400 SY of 8 thick PCC pavement, 800 LF of 12 water main, 250 LF of 6 sanitary sewer service, 400 LF of 15 storm sewer, sidewalk, driveways, traffic control, restoration, and associated work. Specific project location along with the kind and approximate quantity of materials to be used shall be as set forth in the Plans and Specifications. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as outlined in the Instruction to Bidders in an amount equal to Ten (10) percent of the total bid amount. Work on the improvements shall commence on or before the late start date of May 13, 2024 and shall be substantially complete on or before November 1, 2024. Liquidated damages for noncompliance with said substantial completion provisions will be assessed at the rate of Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($750.00) for each calendar day thereafter that the work remains incomplete. Remaining punch list items, restoration, and sodding shall be fully completed on or before November 29, 2024. Liquidated damages for noncompliance with said completion provisions will be assessed at the rate of Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($750.00) for each calendar day thereafter that the work remains incomplete. The City of Clive reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
