Site work and paving for a civil project in Clive, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
This project includes all materials, equipment, transportation and labor needed to construct full depth PCC patches on University AvenueandNW128 th Street in the City of Clive, Iowa. Project items include full-depth patching, in take reconstruction, manhole casting replacement, traffic control, mobilization and restoration. Specific project location along with the kind and approximate quantity of materials to be used shall be asset forth in the Plans and Specifications. Work on the improvements shall commence on or before the late start date of June 3, 2024 and shall be completed by September 13, 2024. Liquidated damages for noncompliance with said completion provisions will be assessed at the rate of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for each calendar day thereafter that the work remains incomplete. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined inSection26.8of the Iowa Code and as outlined in the Instruction to Bidders in an amount equal to Ten(10)percent of the total bid amount. The City of Clive reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
