Site work for a water / sewer project in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Main Street utility lines upgrade. Scope of work includes: New 300 mm watermain complete with valves, hydrants and water service laterals from Civic 201 to Civic 440. New 200 mm raw watermain from Clearway Street to Civic 440. New 250 mm sanitary sewer complete with manholes and sewer laterals from Civic 201 to Civic 440. New large diameter storm sewers between Clearway Street and Civic 201, connecting to Ernst Brook at Civic 394 and at Civic 440 (across private property, easements required). New Pressure Reducing Valve and chamber, optimal location to be determined. Reinstatement of all surface features distributed during underground services installation. New 200 mm watermain and 250 mm sanitary sewer plus manholes and service laterals from Civic 201 to Civic 147 New 50 mm waterline complete with water service laterals between Civics 147 and 15. TIMELINE: Construction is currently scheduled for 2027/28. Further update may be available in 2026.
