Renovation of a fire / police facility in Mantua, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The project principally consists of installation of a 3/16" steel sheet above holding cells and reset or replacement of lights, vents and other sensors where required at the Mantua Police Station located at 405 Main Street in Mantua Township, New Jersey. Alternatively plans and specifications can be sent via FedEx, or other courier, for an additional $25.00 to cover shipping and handling. No refund shall be made for the return of these documents. All technical questions are to be directed to Bryson & Yates, LLC., 307 Greentree Road, Sewell, New Jersey 08080. The cutoff date for written inquiries is October 27 at 10:00 am. No oral inquiries will be responded to. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond for not less than 10 percent (10%) of the total amount bid, but not in excess of $20,000, made payable to the Township of Mantua. The bid must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit. Public Disclosure, Chapter 33 of the Public Laws of 1977 provides that no corporation or partnership shall be awarded any State, County, Municipal or School District contract for the performance of any work or the furnishing of any materials or supplies, unless, prior to the receipt of the bid or accompanying the bid of said corporation or partnership there is submitted a statement. The statement shall set forth the names and addresses of all stockholders in the corporation or partnership who own 10% or more of its stock or any class, or of all individual partners in a partnership or other type of business or business entity who own a 10% or greater interest. FAILURE TO SUPPLY THIS INFORMATION WITH YOUR FORM OF PROPOSAL WILL BE CAUSE TO REJECT THE BID. The Township of Mantua reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the proposal received and to accept the bid which in their judgment will best serve the interests of the GCUA. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A.10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 laws against discrimination because of race, religion, sex, color, etc. The contractor is further notified that he must comply with P.L. 1999 c. 238 Public Works Contractor Registration Act and P.L. 1963, c.150 (New Jersey Prevailing Wage Ave) and Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. 12101, et seq.) and he and any subcontractors must be registered in accordance with this act. The contractor is also further notified that he must comply with P.L. 2004 c. 57 and submit proof of a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate and submit proof of business registration for any named subcontractors in accordance with the act. This contract is subject to the provisions of the New Jersey Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1, et seq. Bids must be prepared on the standard proposal forms provided, in the manner designated therein. Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, bearing the name and address of the bidder, and labeled "HOLDINGCELL CEILING REPLACEMENT MANTUA POLICE STATION PHASE 2" and shall be addressed to the Township of Mantua c/o Jennica Bileci, 401 Main Street, Mantua, New Jersey 08051.
