Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hohenwald, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.
The scope of work required under this contract includes furnishing and paying for all necessary materials, labor, tools, equipment, a other items for the following construction: Installation of approximately 1,965 linear feet of 8 inch sanitary sewer line a associated apparatus. Installation of approximately 3,150 linear feet of 8 inch waterline, and associated apparatus. clearing/tree removal. Pavement patching and repair. Erosion and sediment control completed in conjunction with NPD coverage under the State of Tennessee's Construction General Permit, as administrated by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation. Traffic Control. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Summertown Highway. instructions to bidders for all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award refer to the instructions to bidders that are included in the bidding documents. each bidder must deposit with their bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the instructions to bidders and other bidding documents. any bid received after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids will be returned to the bidder unopened. bids will be required to remain open for acceptance or rejection for sixty (60) calendar days after the date of opening bids. the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities is reserved by the owner. all bidders must be licensed contractors as required by the contractor's licensing act of 1976, it ca title 62, chapter 6. no bid will be opened unless the sealed envelope containing the bid provides the contractor's license number, date of license expiration, and the part of the contractor's classification applying to the bid. in the case of joint ventures, this information must be provided all parties submitting the bid. no award of any contract will be made to any firm or individual that is currently debarred the state of Tennessee or the federal highway administration.
