01. This project shall consist of furnishing of all material, equipment, machinery, labor, etc., necessary for the construction of the facilities more particularly described below and shown of the Plans. Work shall include all necessary items of construction and equipment within the limits shown on the Plans in order to provide finished installations complete in every respect. Any incidental operations, accessories, tests, etc., which are, in the opinion of the ENGINEER, necessary to complete the installation and place it in operation shall be provided regardless of whether or not they are specifically mentioned herein. No extra payment will be made except as provided for under adjustment items in the Bid Forms or as extra work items authorized by the ENGINEERS in writing. 02. Renovation of a 5.500 sq. ft. Existing Building including the replacement of the roofing, fascia, trim, gutters, etc., brick and masonry repairs, wood trim repairs, caulking and sealant installation including all labor, materials and other ancillary items as defined within these Specifications. Prior to the start of construction, a pre-construction conference shall be held at which time a construction schedule shall be submitted by the CONTRACTOR for approval by the ENGINEER. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provide d in the Information for Bidders. All bidders must be licensed General Contractors as required by the Contractor's Licensing Act of 1994 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee, and qualified for the type of construction being bid upon.
