Pursuant to M.G.L. c. 149, 29, the Contractor shall furnish a performance bond in an amount of 100% of the total Contract price and a payment bond in an amount of 100% of the total Contract price from a surety company qualified to do business under the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and satisfactory to the Awarding Authority or furnished and materials used or employed therein, when the Contract is executed.
