The City of Millington, Tennessee solicits Sealed Bid #2024-5 for the South Water Treatment Plant Improvements in Millington, Tennessee. The work consists generally of the expansion of the City's South Water Treatment Plant located at 5041 Waycross Road, Millington, Tennessee, from 2 MGD to 4 MGD, including all ancillary pipe, valves, fittings, floc basin, sedimentation basin, filter construction, new chemical feed equipment, control system, equipment, lighting, electrical, site improvements, disinfection, testing, restoration, and appurtenant work required to complete the work as described in these specifications and detailed in the drawings. A Bid Bond, favorable to the City of Millington, executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total of Bid, shall be submitted with each Bid. Submittal of a minimum of three (3) copies of the Bid response is required, one (1) original and two (2) copies. The City of Millington reserves the right to reject any or all bids in whole or in part, with or without cause; and to accept the lowest bid per location which in its judgement will be for the best interest of the City of Millington.
