Site work for a water / sewer project in Springfield, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Generally, the Work Includes the Excavation and Removal of One Underground Storage Tank and the Proper Remediation of Soils and Contaminants and Backfill of Said Tank Excavation. Bid Deposit in the Amount of 10% of Bid. Failure of Bidders to Submit Bid Bond or Cashier's Check in the Amount of 10% of the Bid Shall Be Cause for Rejection of Bid. Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Provide Surety Performance Bond and Payment Bond, Each Equal to 100% of the Contract Cost on Prescribed Forms Within Ten (10) Days After Notice of Acceptance is Issued by Owner. Prevailing Wage Rates Have Been Determined and Are on File at the Office of the State of Illinois Department of Labor, Telephone (217) 782-6206. Not Less Than the Prevailing Hourly Wage Rate as Determined By the Illinois Department of Labor Pursuant to Illinois Revised Statutes, Ch. 489, Sec. 39s-l Et. Seq. Surety on Bond Shall Be by a Duly Authorized U. S. Treasury Backed Company Licensed to Do Business in the State of Illinois, Acceptable to Owner. The Board of Education for Springfield School District #186 Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids and Reserves the Right to Waive Any Irregularity in Bidding, Which in Their Considered Opinion is Warranted. No Bid Shall Be Withdrawn for Sixty (60) Days After Opening of Bids Without Written Consent of the Owner.
