**As of February 15,2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award will be next week Tuesday.** The allotted time for construction is 300 calendar days. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids. All bidders must be licensed General Contractors as required by the Contractor s Licensing Act of 1994 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee and be qualified for the type of construction being bid upon. A bid bond or certified check for five percent (5%) of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bonds in the amount of his bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after closing time scheduled for the receipt of bids. Bidder must agree to commence work on or before a date to be specified in a written Notice to Proceed of the Owner and to fully complete the project within 300 Consecutive Calendar Days Thereafter. Bidder Must Agree Also to Pay as Liquidated Damages, the Minimum Sum of $500.00 for Each Consecutive Calendar Day Thereafter or as Hereinafter Provided in Paragraph 18.09 of the Supplemental General Conditions.
