On April 23, 2024 Commissioners Court approved the authorization to negotiate. Unfortunately, negotiations failed therefore, it was determined requirements will be completed through existing contract(s). Harris County Office of the Purchasing Agent is seeking professional firms with the experience, capabilities, and qualified available staff to provide design implementation for Veterans Memorial Park (Phase I) for the Office of the County Engineer. Request for Qualifications seeking multi-disciplinary architectural and engineering professional services for the planning, design, bidding, construction phase services, and community outreach services for the existing Veterans Memorial Park, located at 1896 Tidwell, Houston, Texas. The 25-acre park is located adjacent to a residential area and has one entrance/exit. Veterans Memorial Park Design - Phase 1 shall be designed to be all-inclusive and shall include, but not be limited to, the following: trails and sidewalks, vertical monuments, picnic pavilion(s), community center, pavilion with restroom, a detention pond, obstacle course, large and small dog parks, parking, and entry monument. A master plan study has been completed and will be available upon award recommendation.
