Site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Salt Lake City, Utah. Working plans call for the construction of a multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.
**As of February 8, 2024 projects is on hold. No definite date for the rebid.** The Housing Authority of Salt Lake City is proposing a new 55-unit apartment complex named Book Cliffs Lodge. Book Cliffs Lodge will provide one-bedroom units for low-income individuals at a mix of AMI levels in an area of Salt Lake City that has experienced substantial growth in recent years. Book Cliffs Lodge is a permit ready project that will be ready for construction upon award of Federal LIHTC financing. Book Cliffs Lodge Apartments is an .84-acre Multifamily Housing Development located on 1159 South West Temple, SLC, Utah 84101. The building is approximately 46,588 square feet, four story slab on grade wood construction and designed to meet both Energy Star and Enterprise Green Community standards. The building will provide 55 total units with all 55 being one-bedroom units. The expected project delivery is late-2025, following an 18-month construction period. Bid Bond - Offerors are required to submit a bid guarantee equivalent to 5% of the bid price. Successful bidder(s) shall furnish an assurance of completion as a performance and payment bond in a penal sum of 100% of the contract price; OR separate performance and payment bonds, each for 50% or more of the contract price; OR a 20% cash escrow; OR a 25% irrevocable letter of credit.
