* Bids came in higher than budget available. Re-roof existing building: Remove all existing roof clay tiles and replace with steel metal tiles at locations noted on drawings. Replace exiting roof mounted air handler support curb, siding, roofing and flashing with SBS roofing system. Remove and replace roof eaves roughing and rain water leaders. A non-resident Contractor is required to obtain a guarantee bond of 6% The Contractor shall provide and maintain in good standing until the fulfillment of the Contract, a performance bond and a labour and materials payment bond covering the faithful performance of the Contract, including the requirements of the warranty provided for in GC41 - correction after completion, and payment of all wages and other obligations arising under the Contract The bonds shall each be in an amount equal to at least 50% of the Contract price and shall remain in full force and effect for a period of twelve (12) months after the date the Consultant issues the Certificate of Substantial Performance.
