This project involves various engineering evaluation and improvements o f the wastewater treatment plant. I t includes aeration system and controls, backup chlorine/de-chlor system and controls, and LED lighting for the plant exterior. The majority o f the project i s to update the headworks area and install grit removal equipment. This will allow the system to function more efficiently and reduce wear and tear o n the pumps. Future year expenses include a belt press, conveyer, and system installation. As of November 1, 2023, this project is included in the Town of Prescott's FY 2023-2024 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Information regarding a design firm and the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed. A firm construction timeline has not been released. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
