Reference Number 0000393519 PROJECT LOCATION: Jackass Campground, 6S58, California (Google Maps, via Minarets Road) The Jackass Rock Campgrounds suffered damaged during the 2020 Creek Fire event in Madera County. The fire destroyed six (6) existing cabins, one (1) arts & crafts cabin, and three (3) water tanks. The project involves replacement of the destroyed cabins with smaller occupancy cabins and storage tanks. The total number of replacement cabins is eleven (11), two (2) of which are ADA compliant, plus the one (1) arts and crafts cabins, plus the water storage tanks as shown on the plans. The Septic system is also being permitted separately and may be added to this project's scope of work as a change order or the County may contract this scope of work separately. It is encouraged to participate in the pre- bid walk, however this is a non-mandatory walk. Note, the County may schedule a second non-mandatory pre-bid meeting if inclement weather, fire event, or at its discretion. It is also advisable to bring already prepared food, drinks and/or snacks with you since there are no services at or near the project site. The successful CONTRACTOR (after receiving the Notice to Proceed) shall have Two Hundred Fifty (250) calendar days to complete all work called for under the Contract Documents. This schedule assumes no work being able to be performed during the months of December, January and February due to snow conditions. Engineer's estimate is approx. $1,200,000 - $1,300,000.00. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof.
