The Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (d.b.a. LYNX) is requesting proposals for Architectural & Engineering (A&E) Services for a Grant Funded Capital Project. The A&E Services include, but are not limited, to Pre-Design, Design, and Post-Design for the LYNX Central Station (LCS) location. The PROPOSER will provide the requested services on a task order basis for the requested items. LYNX and the selected PROPOSER will agree upon the specific scope of work and fee schedule. The selected PROPOSER must be able to provide all the services required through its own staff and/or subcontractors The award of this solicitation will result in a Firm Fixed Price Contract with a term of three (3) years with two (2) one (1) year options A&E Services to include but are not limited to: • Pre-design, which will include verifying existing site conditions via assessment and recommendations, and an Energy Model for the building providing cost effectiveness • Design services • Develop Construction Drawings • Permitting • Bid Evaluation • Post-design, which will include coordination on design-related items with separate Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Consultant on any post-design activities LYNX desires to replace current windows within the LCS Building and the Passenger Terminal to enhance building resiliency, meet latest Florida Building Code hurricane mitigation requirements. In addition, this project is seeking to improve energy efficiency, eliminate water leaks and improve sound dampening in the building. A conditions assessment with an energy model is being considered in order to determine structural conditions and assess any additional resiliency requirements for this project. The design portion of this project shall be performed concurrently as two (2) different projects for the building and passenger terminal. However, they may be considered to be permitted and constructed concurrently or in phases, starting with the building first, then the passenger terminal.
