The Government of the District of Columbia (the "District"), acting by and through its Department of General Services (the "Department" or "DGS") seeks to engage a Small Business Enterprise ("SBE") firm, certified by the D.C. Department of Small & Local Business Development ("DSLBD") as a SBE (the "Contractor"), to provide parking garage management services ("Parking Management Services"), as described herein, at the St. Elizabeth East Campus Parking Garage (the "St. Elizabeth's Parking Garage") located at the intersection of Cypress Street SE and the temporary 13th Street SE. The garage contains approximately 750 parking spaces on seven (7) levels with two (2) levels below entry level off of 13th Street and five (5) levels above. The Parking Management Servies to be performed hereunder by the Contractor shall consist of parking garage operations and management, revenue collections/accounting, and maintenance services. Virtual Questions and Answers: October 25, 2023, at 10:00AM Deadline for Questions: November 1, 2023, by 4:00P Prior to commencing work, the Contractor shall have its insurance broker or insurance company submit certificates of insurance giving evidence of the required coverages as specified in Section I.14(H) to James Marshall at james.marshall@dc.gov. Base Term Period of Performance: The Base Period of the awarded Contract will be 12 months from dates of award. The Department may unilaterally extend term of this Contract for a period of four (4), one (1) year option period(s) ("Option Period(s)" or "OP"), or successive fractions thereof, by written notice to the Contractor(s) before the expiration of the Contract; provided that the Department will give the Contractor Preliminary Notice in writing of its intent to extend at least thirty (30) days before the Contract expires. The preliminary notice does not commit the Department to an extension. The exercise of any OP is subject to the availability of funds at the time of the exercise of the OP. The Contractor may waive the thirty (30) day preliminary notice requirement by providing a written waiver to the CO prior to expiration of the Contract.
