Demolition and renovation of a museum in Wheeling, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a museum; and for the renovation of a museum.
The Wheeling Park Commission invites proposals to provide all work, including but not limited to labor, materials, equipment supplies and transportation for the select renovations to the Oglebay Resort Mansion Roof Renovation. The project scope includes the select demolition and renovations to the existing Mansion roof and related roof features. The written questions must be submitted via email to Julie Doerr at jdoerr@millsgrouponline.com no later than 12:00 pm on Thursday, November 2, 2023 with response back to the contractors no later than 4:00 pm on Friday, November 3, 2023. A Bid bond executed by a surety company acceptable to Wheeling Park Commission in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid, shall be submitted with each Bid, to guarantee the Bidder s entrance into a Contract, if given the award. No Bid may withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the time of the opening of the Bids. Any contractor submitting a Bid on this project hereby certifies, indicates, and acknowledges that he/she has a contractor s license and meets all the qualifications required by the statutes of the State of West Virginia and subdivision in which the work is to be performed. The Wheeling Park Commission (OWNER) reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities therein.
