Four 55,000 gallon LNG Tanks located at 91 Mueller Rd, Holyoke, MA. Provide labor, materials, equipment & staging to brush blast affected areas of paint, removed during pressure washing. Affected areas to be primed using Sherwin Williams Macropoxy 646 and finish coat to be painted with Sherwin Williams Sher-Loxane 800. Prevailing Wage Rates apply. The successful bidder will be required to obtain satisfactory Payment Bond equal to 50% of the total price if over $25,000. Each storage tank is a double-walled, 55,000 gallon vacuum jacketed vessel designed to hold LNG, a cryogenic (-260degree F). The outer shell of the tank is constructed of carbon steel. Each tank has an approximate surface area of 4,160 square feet (16,640 sq. ft). Following recent cleaning, it was observed that spot treatment is required to maintain satisfactory tank coating. It is estimated that 2,100 sq. ft will require attention. A mandatory site visit is required to visually inspect the scope of work.
