Overhead Wire - 5 Year - Contract #UE24-10-64 Proposals will be opened at the above specified time and date in the City Council Chambers, Municipal Center West. No proposals will be accepted subsequent to the preceding date and time. Bid security in the form of a certified check or cashier's check payable to the City of Springfield, or a satisfactory bid bond, in the amount of Five Percent (5%) of the total bid. Prior to execution of the contract, the awarded contractor shall be required to obtain Performance and Payment Bonds as per Section 38 of the City Code The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any non-conformity in bids received whenever such rejection or waiver is in the best interests of the City. The City also reserves the right to reject the bid of a bidder who has previously failed to satisfactorily perform a contract, has not completed contracts on time, or whom investigation shows is not able to perform the contract.
