Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Stafford, Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 131,000-square-foot, three-story above grade educational facility.
Stafford County Public Schools (SCPS) is proposing to construct the new elementary school 19. This project is an ongoing Prototype that was developed with ES 18. The building is a three-story masonry and metal stud structure with brick and metal panel veneers. The proposed school is approximately 131,000 SF with a student capacity of 1070 students. As of June 20, 2024 this project's rezoning request has been approved with conditions; this project was approved in Stafford County's FY2025 budget. General contractor bidding is expected to take place late summer to early fall 2024. Construction is expected to be competed Summer 2026. All questions are due by 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 12, 2024 to Stafford Schools' Procurement Department via email procurement@staffordschools.net
