Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

SCOPE: In general, the work under this project consists of asphaltic milling, HMA pavement, culvert removal, new concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer construction, water main replacement, water services, sanitary sewer rehabilitation, sidewalk replacement, erosion control, restoration, and all incidental items necessary to complete the work as show non the plans and included in the proposal and contract. The centerline length of the project is approximately 0.6 miles. This is a Local Roads Improvement Program (LRIP) funded project. BID SECURITY: Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid price, payable to Walworth County, Wisconsin, as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the proper contract documents within fifteen (15) days after notification of award of the contract. In case the successful bidder fails to execute such contract documents, the bid bond shall be forfeited to Walworth County as liquidated damages. BID WITHDRAWAL: No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the scheduled opening of bids. Bids may be withdrawn only in total and only by a written request to Walworth County Purchasing, Department of Public Works, prior to the time and date of the scheduled bid deadline.
