The goal for minority participation is 1.6%, trade by trade, of the workforce. The goal for the participation of women is 6.9%, trade by trade, of the workforce. The Project consists of but not limited to: Creating enclosures and related work to meet the requirement of 2-hr rating. Estimated Construction Cost: $83,125.00 The WORCESTER HOUSING AUTHORITY, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for the Fire Alarm Closets - Elm Park Tower at Elm Park Tower (MA 12-18) in Worcester, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by WORCESTER HOUSING AUTHORITY. The Project consists of but not limited to: Creating enclosures and related work to meet the requirement of 2-hr rating. All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted online by 11/03/2023 at 2:00PM EDT for general bids. General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (including all alternates), and made payable to the WORCESTER HOUSING AUTHORITY. Note: A bid deposit is not required for Projects advertised under $50,000.
