Renovation of a municipal facility in Redbridge, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
North Bay Fish Culture Station, Substation Building Roof and Siding Renewal, Plumbing Upgrades and Interior Room Replacement, Tender# 18519. The Ministry of Natural Resources operates 9 fish culture stations throughout the Province of Ontario. The North Bay Fish Culture Station is located at 10521 Highway 63, North Bay, ON, P0H 2A0. The substation is located approximately 8-9km away from the main station on the Olrig Road (summer use, forest access road). The North Bay Fish Culture Station needs to have the electrical services, metal siding, roof and insulation removed from the 19,000 sq. ft. building. The superstructure will then be abraded or media blasted and painted as per the drawings and specifications. Roofing, siding and ventilation systems will be re-installed as per the drawings and specifications. Electrical services will be re-installed as per the drawings and specification. Interior "rooms" will be rebuilt as per the drawings and specifications. Plumbing modifications will be done as per the drawings and specifications. The Ministry anticipates removal and stocking of the fish that are at the Substation up to June 3rd, 2024, and will need unhindered access to the Substation until that time; therefore, the construction on the Substation cannot commence before June 3rd, 2024.
